A round the world study of agriculture

What changes when you see agriculture globally? I am about to find out as I have been awarded a Nuffield Australia scholarship to research decision-making on farmily farms, specifically the barriers preventing more women from being recognised as strategic decision-makers.

Storytelling

Our own stories shape how we understand the world: what we value, what we notice and the questions we think to ask. Sharing them gives us the opportunity to see through someone else's eyes, building understanding and common ground.

Every story is shaped by people and place, and by those who came before.

I extend my respect to the orignal storytellers: Aboriginal and Torress Strait Islander peoples of Australia, who have shared knowledge, culture and connection to Country through storytelling for 65,000 years.

I acknowledge the Wonnarua people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live and work, and extend my respect to all First Nations peoples and their connection to Country, wherever they call home.
